Formula 1: Crypto.com, global partner and first sponsor of the new "Sprint Qualifying Format"

Crypto.com, a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency and NFT platform, has become a global partner of Formula One Group until the end of the 2021 Formula One World Championship season, announced the body on 29/06/2021. Crypto.com joins Saudi Aramco (oil), DHL, Emirates, Heineken, Pirelli and Rolex as a "global partner" (first level).

Crypto.com has become the first partner of the "Sprint" qualifying series, a new shortened race format (100km, 30 minutes), which take place on Saturdays and provide the grid classification for the Sunday Grand Prix. The format will be tested this season at three races, including the British Grand Prix on Saturday 17/07/2021. The other two races expected to feature Sprint qualifying this season are the Italian and Brazilian Grand Prix, according to media reports. 

Crypto.com is also a partner of the Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team in 2021 and will be present on signage at every Grand Prix until the end of the 2021 season.
