Sporting CP: Nike replaces Macron as equipment supplier, Betano succeeds NOS as main shirt sponsor

Nike will become the official equipment supplier of Sporting Clube de Portugal (Liga Portugal Bwin) from the 2021-22 season, announced the Portuguese club on 28/06/2021. Nike replaces Macron, equipment supplier of the club for the 2014-2021 cycle (between €2.5m and €3m per season).

On the same day, the 2020-21 Portuguese champions also announced a change of main shirt sponsor. The sports betting operator Betano, a platform of the Greek group Kaizen Gaming, will appear on Sporting SP's kit for two seasons (2021-2023, plus two additional optional seasons).

Betano will therefore succeed Portuguese telecommunications operator NOS as the club's main shirt sponsor for the 2016-2021 cycle. However, NOS will remain an "official technology partner'" of Sporting CP.
