DAZN has acquired the global broadcasting rights (excluding MENA and China) to the UEFA Women's Champions League for the 2021-2025 cycle, as well as the functions of host broadcaster of the competition, according to the OTT platform and the European body on 30/06/2021.

DAZN is partnering with YouTube to broadcast the competition free of charge across all territories covered. In the first two seasons (2021-2023), fans will be able to watch all 61 matches (from the group stage onwards) live and on-demand on DAZN, and free of charge on DAZN's YouTube channel. For the following two seasons (2023-2025), all 61 matches will be broadcast live on DAZN, while 19 matches will be available for free via DAZN's YouTube channel.

This innovative agreement marks a first for UEFA, which is now centralising all Women's Champions League matches at global level. "The new deal will greatly increase exposure to women's football as the UEFA Women's Champions League introduces a 16-team group stage (four groups of four teams) for the first time," explained the European body.
