Manchester City FC: club to open football school in Jakarta (Indonesia) its first in Southeast Asia

Manchester City FC (Premier League) will launch a football school in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, in September 2021, announced the club on 30/06/2021. The football school, which will be run in partnership with the British School Jakarta (BSJ), a school whose facilities will be used by the club, is the first to be opened by Manchester City in Southeast Asia.

"The Manchester City Football School will provide authentic and creative football coaching programmes for students, utilising the coaching philosophy and methodology of Manchester City. Based within BSJ in the Tangerang district of Jakarta, the football school will include a Manchester City coaching team utilising the first-class facilities of BSJ, which include both natural and 4G pitches, indoor alternatives and conditioning facilities," said the 2020-21 Premier League champions.
