Euro 2020: head-to-head Italy - Spain, semi-final at Wembley (London, ENG) on Tuesday 06/07/2021

Spain sixth in the FIFA rankings will face seventh-placed Italy in their UEFA Euro 2020 semi-final on Tuesday 06/07/2021 (kick-off at 20:00 BST, 21:00 CET) at Wembley Stadium in London (ENG).

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), chaired by Luis Rubiales since May 2018 (re-elected on 21/09/2020 for four years), had over 900,000 licensees (2019) and a posted turnover of €230.6m for the financial year 2020, while the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), presided over by Gabriele Gravina since October 2018 (re-elected on 22/02/2021), posted just over 1.1 million licensees and a turnover of €174m for the financial year 2019 (projected turnover for 2021: €197.3m)

On social media, the Spanish national team has nearly 9.7 million followers on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, a little more than their Italian opponents which count just over 9.5 million.

The 24 Spanish players selected by Luis Enrique are valued at a total of €915m by the website Transfermarkt as of 06/07/2021. Meanwhile, the 26 Italian players led by Roberto Mancini are valued at €751m.
