The "Rugby Europe Super Cup" is the name of the new annual European competition for rugby clubs from "emerging Rugby Unions" that will begin in September 2021, according to Rugby Europe on 07/07/2021. Rugby Europe has partnered with World Rugby for the creation of the new competition.

Eight clubs will take part in the first edition, the Rugby Europe Super Cup 2021-22. A total of 27 matches will be played, including the group stage from 18/09 to 12/12/2021, the semi-finals in April 2022 and the final in May 2022 (see below).

Seven countries will be represented: Georgia, Israel and Russia for the Eastern Conference; Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain for the Western Conference. "In future years, it is Rugby Europe's ambition to extend the Super Cup to new teams and new countries to increase the standards of the game, on and off the field, across the Continent and strengthen the player pathway of the national teams," said the body.
