Serie A TIM: + 11.9 million fans for Juventus on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in 2020-21

The 20 clubs involved in the 2020-21 Serie A TIM season total more than 225 million fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank on 01/07/2021. The Serie A TIM is the third most followed European Top 5 league on these three social networks combined, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with an average of over 11.2 million fans per club.

With over 103 million fans across the three social networks, Juventus FC is the most popular Italian club. It gained 11.9 million additional fans during the 2020-21 season (01/08/2020 to 01/07/2021), including 8.2 million on Instagram alone, thus outperforming all other Italian clubs. Among the clubs belonging to one of the European Top 5, only FC Barcelona (+ 14.1 million) and Real Madrid CF (+ 13.6 million) performed better.

AC Milan, the second most popular club in the Italian league with 43 million subscribers, gained more than 2.4 million additional fans over the season (+ 6.1%).
