Euro 2020: Italy - England head-to-head in the final at Wembley (London, ENG), 11/07/2021

England, fourth in the FIFA rankings, will face seventh-placed Italy in the final of UEFA Euro 2020 (kick-off at 20:00 BST, 21:00 CET) at Wembley Stadium in London (ENG) on Sunday 11/07/2021.

The Football Association, chaired by Peter McCormick (interim), has 18,449 clubs and 1.8 million licensed players (2019), while the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio, presided over by Gabriele Gravina since October 2018 (re-elected on 22/02/2021), has 13,439 affiliated clubs and just over 1.1 million licensed players. The FA posted revenues of €390m in 2019-2020, compared to €174m for the FIGC in the 2019 financial year (projected 2021 revenues: €197.3m).

On social networks, the English team has nearly 18.7 million fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, almost twice as many as their Italian opponents which count just over 9.5 million followers.

The 26 English players selected by Gareth Southgate are valued at a total of €1.260bn by the website Transfermarkt since the start of the competition. Meanwhile, the 26 Italian players led by Roberto Mancini are valued at €751m.
