37.6 million people in France watched the first two weeks of the 2021 Tour de France (from 26/06 to 11/07/2021) on the public channels France 2 and France 3, according to France Télévisions via Twitter on 12/07/2021. This is a record for the first two weeks of competition, explained the public broadcasting group.

The first 15 days of the race posted an average of 3.8 million viewers (audience share: 39.8%) on France 2, which represents the best audience since 2011. The audience share among 15-24 year olds was 36%, "the best for 15 years".
