Premier League: Online payment service Neteller to be shirt sponsor for Crystal Palace

Neteller, the online payment service from the British group Optimal Payments PLC, will be the shirt sponsor of Crystal Palace (Premier League) for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons, the club announced on 09/07/2014.

Neteller will be the first online payment service to be the shirt sponsor of a Premier League club. Its objective is to increase its name recognition and turnover in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The partnership was negotiated by sports marketing agency SportQuake.

Neteller will replace the logistics company GAC, which had been the shirt sponsor for the London-based club since 2004. GAC spent €900,000 on the sponsorship for 2013-14.
