UEFA: Oleg Petrov (AS Monaco FC) joins Professional Football Strategy Council as ECA representative

Oleg Petrov (RUS), vice-president and CEO of AS Monaco FC, has been appointed as the ECA's representative on the UEFA Professional Football Strategy Council (PFSC) and will sit as a member of the ECA board, announced AS Monaco on 13/07/2021.

The UEFA PFSC comprises elected representatives of the four main stakeholders in European professional football:
• The clubs, through the European Club Association (ECA).
• The leagues, represented by European Leagues.
• The players, through FIFPro, Division Europe.
• UEFA, the governing body of football at European level.

"I am very honored to have been appointed to represent the ECA on the UEFA Professional Football Strategy Council. My ambition is to work as a uniting force and put my effort into being at the service of football and its development," said Oleg Petrov.

The PFSC discusses issues of strategic importance for professional football in Europe and advises the UEFA executive committee accordingly.
