Amazon: Ligue 1 priced at €12.99/month for Prime subscribers, partnership with L'Équipe for Ligue 2

"More than 300 Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches per season will be streamed exclusively on a brand new channel, Prime Video Ligue 1, available to Prime members for €12.99 per month, with no commitment," announced e-commerce group Amazon on 13/07/2021. The subscription to the Prime service (free delivery on Amazon and Prime Video series/movies offering) is priced at €49 per year or €5.99 per month in France. Non-subscribers to the Prime service will therefore have to pay €18.98 per month without commitment.

Amazon has acquired the rights to eight Ligue 1 Uber Eats games per matchday (including the top 10 fixtures each season) and eight Ligue 2 BKT games per matchday for €250m and €9m per season respectively. This is more than three times less than Mediapro was supposed to pay (€810m per season) for the same rights.
