Tour de France: J Sports extends its broadcasting rights in Japan for A.S.O's main events

Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) and the Japanese pay-TV group J Sports have announced the extension of their agreement concerning the exclusive broadcasting rights, in Japan, of A.S.O.'s main events on 12/07/2021.

This agreement, the duration of which was not communicated, concerns in particular the following cycling races: the Tour de France, La Vuelta, Paris-Roubaix, Critérium du Dauphiné, Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

From 2023 onwards, J Sports will offer its subscribers live coverage of more than 20 events organised by A.S.O., thanks to multi-platform coverage (including traditional television channels and a digital platform for on-demand bypass services). As part of the agreement, J Sports has also secured the exclusive Japanese rights to the Dakar Rally and the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, as well as other men's and women's cycling events, including the recently announced Tour de France Femmes (women's race) avec Zwift, which will be held for the first time in July 2022.
