Bundesliga: beIN Sports extends TV rights in France and acquires them for Turkey (2021-2025)

The Qatari pay-TV group beIN Sports has extended its broadcasting rights in France and acquired the rights to the Bundesliga, 2.Bundesliga and DFL-Supercup in Turkey from Bundesliga International, a subsidiary of the DFL, for the 2021-2025 cycle, on 15/07/2021. beIN Sports has held these rights since it entered the French market in 2012.

In France, beIN Sports has extended its broadcasting rights to LaLiga Santander, over the 2021-2024 cycle, for an estimated €25m per season (versus €30m per season over the 2018-2021 cycle), on 18/05/2021. The broadcasting rights to the Serie A TIM, which also expired at the end of the 2020-21 season, have not yet been extended as of 16/07/2021.

In Turkey, beIN Sports' rights portfolio includes "Turkish Super League, Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Bundesliga, 2.Bundesliga, Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, WTA alongside a variety of other football, tennis, handball, motorsports rights and much more," said beIN Sports.
