Lega Serie A: "Let's use football to encourage Italians to get vaccinated" (Paolo Dal Pino)

"The Lega Serie A with all 20 clubs and the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) have sent letters to the institutions asking for a return to 100 % of spectators at matches. It's not a crazy request: let's encourage Italians to get vaccinated since so far only 45% of the population over 12 has done so. Football is an incredible social driving force and if we allow our fans with green passes (health passes) to enter the stands, we will make a decisive contribution to making the whole country safe," said Paolo Dal Pino, president of the Lega Serie A, to the Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera on 16/07/2021.
