Champions League: after Saint Petersburg in 2022, 2023 final in Istanbul, then Wembley in 2024

The Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul (TUR) will host the 2023 UEFA Champions League final, announced UEFA following a meeting of its executive committee held by videoconference on 16/07/2021.

Istanbul was originally due to host the 2020 final, which was eventually moved to Lisbon (POR) as the culmination of an unprecedented "Final 8" format due to the Covid-19 pandemic played from 12 to 23/08/2020 (UEFA decision on 17/06/2020).

Istanbul was then scheduled to host the 2021 final, but due to the pandemic, the Manchester City FC - Chelsea FC match was also rescheduled to Portugal (Estádio do Dragão, in Porto on 29/05/2021) following a decision made by UEFA on 13/05/2021.
