Premier League: Arsenal FC to launch a Fan Token in partnership with Socios.com (cryptocurrency)

Socios.com, a cryptocurrency blockchain platform owned by the Maltese companies ChiliZ and Mediarex Sports & Entertainment, has become a partner of Arsenal FC (Premier League) from 2020-21, announced the club on 19/07/2021.

Socios.com has the status of official partner, the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the London club. As part of the agreement, the Malta-based company will generate Arsenal's first "$AFC Fan Token", which will "launch soon with all existing and new My Arsenal Rewards Members having the option to receive a free $AFC Fan Token for a limited time," said the club.

"There will be countless engagement opportunities on Socios.com for $AFC Fan Token holders, including the chance to influence the club in a series of interactive polls across a variety of decisions every season.
