Tokyo 2020: IOC partner Airbnb (accommodation) offers fans online experiences with athletes

Airbnb, an accommodation rental service, has activated its partnership with the IOC during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games through the "Tokyo Together" programme, which offers fans more than 200 unique online experiences involving Olympic and Paralympic "hosts" from 30 countries representing more than 50 sports, according to the world body on 15/07/2021.

"Whilst fans won’t be able to attend the Olympic Games in person, the launch of these one-of-a-kind experiences is a way for people around the world to celebrate and support the athletes, while feeling as close to the action as possible. From connecting with competing athletes to reliving iconic moments or discovering new sports, guests will be able to personally meet with a variety of athletes before and after they compete at Tokyo 2020.
