FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) has joined forces with the Government of Catalonia, through the Catalan Tourism Agency (ACT) and the Catalan Ministry of Commerce and Labor, to "promote Catalonia as a tourism destination through its men's and women’s teams during their preseason matches," announced the club on 29/07/2021.

As part of this partnership, the "Catalonia" brand logo will be displayed on the kits of players and their technical staff outside of matches, on advertising panels during training sessions and matches, and on the backdrops for press conferences. A promotional video produced by ACT will also be shown in stadiums during the men's team friendlies versus VfB Stuttgart and FC Red Bull Salzburg on 30/07 and 04/08/2021.

"FC Barcelona and the Catalan Tourism Agency have been working closely together since 2012, but the relationship has obviously taken on particular relevance in the present climate as the club uses its international profile to foster the recovery of Catalonia’s tourist industry and raise awareness of it as a destination," said the Spanish club.
