Adidas will replace Nike as the official kit supplier of Manchester United (Premier League) beginning in 2015-16, the club announced on 14/07/2014. The contract will pay out a record £750m (€942m) to the club over 10 years (2016-2026).

Nike had confirmed on 08/07/2014 that it would no longer be Manchester United's kit supplier after the 2014-15 season. The American brand has been under contract with the Red Devils since 2002, when it replaced Umbro (UK). Nike will pay the club €31.5m for 2014-15.

The second-largest kit supplier contract in the world is between Real Madrid (Liga BBVA) and Adidas, for €38m annually through 2019-20.
