2021-22 Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Kappa and adidas, the most represented equipment suppliers as in 2020-21

With just a few days to go before the start of the 2021-22 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season, Kappa and adidas are the most represented equipment suppliers in the French championship, with four clubs each under contract (as of 03/08/2021). The two brands had dethroned Puma in 2020-21, while the German brand was the most present in Ligue 1 during the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.

Kappa is still partnered with FC Metz, FC Lorient, Angers SCO and AS Monaco FC, while adidas is still supplying RC Strasbourg Alsace (extended until 2029-30), Olympique Lyonnais, Stade Brestois 29 and FC Girondins de Bordeaux. Only one change of equipment supplier occurred before the 2021-22 season, with Puma replacing Macron at RC Lens for five seasons (2021-2026, €0.7m/year).

Puma now equips three clubs, while Macron, Nike and Le Coq Sportif each equip two teams. New Balance (LOSC Lille), Umbro (Stade de Reims) and Belgian brand Patrick (Clermont Foot 63) are the three other equipment manufacturers present in Ligue 1 for 2021-22, for a total of nine brands (as in 2020-21).
