2021-22 Ligue 1 Uber Eats: AS Monaco - FC Nantes, the first game on Matchday 1, Friday 06/08/2021

AS Monaco FC - FC Nantes will be the first match of the 2021-22 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season, scheduled to take place at the Stade Louis-II (16,500 capacity) this Friday 06/08/2021 (kick-off at 21:00 CET) and broadcast on Amazon Prime Video, the new broadcaster of French football.

The nine other games on Matchday 1 will take place on Saturday 07/08 (two matches) and Sunday 08/08/2021 (seven matches).

AS Monaco, who finished third in 2020-21 (78 points, 24 wins, 6 draws and 8 loses), are about to play their second official match of the new season after the first leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League, in which the club won 2-0 versus Sparta Prague (CZE) on Wednesday 03/08/2021. FC Nantes, 18^th in Ligue 1 at the end of last season (40 points, 9 wins, 13 draws and 16 losses), had to go through the play-offs (at the expense of Toulouse FC, Ligue 2 BKT) in order to stay in the top flight and compete for a 9^th consecutive season.
