Paris Saint-Germain: 100% capacity at the Parc des Princes for first home game of the 2021-22 season

"Following the Prefecture's confirmation that the stadium could open to full capacity, Paris Saint-Germain are getting ready to welcome supporters back into the Parc des Princes on 14/08/2021 for their match against RC Strasbourg Alsace (Matchday 2 of 2021-22, kick-off at 21:00 CET)," announced the club on 09/08/2021.

During Matchday 1 of the 2021-22 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season (06 to 08/08/2021), 8 of the 10 games were able to take place without capacity restrictions. Only AS Monaco FC (versus FC Nantes at the Stade Louis-II limited to 8,500 spectators) and Montpellier HSC (versus Olympique de Marseille at the Stade de la Mosson, a maximum of 13,500 spectators) had a reduction in the capacity of their stadiums imposed by the public authorities due to the local health situation.
