Borussia Dortmund: launch of the "Panama" system to assist visitors at the Signal Iduna Park

Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) has introduced the "Panama" system, "a simple, easy way to get help when you are in an uncomfortable situation in the stadium," announced the club on 11/08/2021. By asking "which way to Panama?" to staff at Signal Iduna Park (Dortmund, GER), visitors will receive immediate assistance.

"Security staff, volunteers and fan representatives: there are already a number of contact points to make people's visit to the stadium as pleasant and safe as possible. The 'Panama' concept has been developed to further optimise this and create a fixed point of contact for people who need it. The offer is intended for anyone who feels unsafe, threatened or harassed and who has experienced discrimination of any form, sexual violence, sexism or physical harassment," explained the German club.
