Crystal Palace FC: American John Textor acquires 18% of the club for £87.5m

"Crystal Palace FC (Premier League) are delighted to welcome John Textor (USA) as an investor, director and fourth partner, joining chairman Steve Parish (ENG), Josh Harris (USA) and David Blitzer (USA) as owners and directors of the south London club," announced the Eagles on 11/08/2021. The American is reported to have acquired around 18% of Crystal Palace's share capital for a sum of £87.5m (€103.2m as of 12/08/2021), according to British media reports.

John Textor is the founder and CEO of Facebank, Inc., a US company specialised in animation and digital entertainment technology. He was also the main shareholder and executive chairman of fuboTV, Inc. (listed on the New York Stock Exchange), a US sports streaming platform.
