LaLiga: a multi-camera signal for three 2021-22 LaLiga Santander games per matchday

LaLiga and pay-TV bouquet Movistar (Telefonica Group) have launched a multi-camera signal that will be deployed for three games per matchday of LaLiga Santander 2021-22, announced the body on 11/08/2021.

This device, developed by the Spanish League's official production partner Mediapro, will be available to national and international broadcasters (see below) via a second channel, both on traditional linear channels as well as on their OTT platforms. This channel will be powered by four cameras on a split screen (a classic camera, a "ball tracking" camera, a camera placed behind the goals and another focused on the bench of both teams) and a real-time statistics module.

"The goal is to offer viewers an alternative match signal in which they can enjoy different perspectives and match data through a new and more personalised experience of some LaLiga Santander matches, taking advantage of and making the most of the technical and technological resources currently available," said the Spanish League.
