ESPN+, an OTT sports platform launched on 12/04/2018 in the United States, has 14.9 million subscribers as of 03/07/2021, according to the quarterly results published by The Walt Disney Company, parent company of the ESPN pay-TV sports package, on 12/08/2021.

The platform, marketed at $6.99 (€5.90) per month as of 16/08/2021, had 3.5 million subscribers on 27/09/2019, 6.6 million on 28/12/2019, 8.5 million on 27/06/2020 and 10.3 million on 03/10/2020. Disney +, the group's other OTT platform launched on 12/11/2019, has 116 million subscribers worldwide as of 03/07/2021.

"We ended the third quarter in a strong position, and are pleased with the company’s trajectory as we grow our businesses amidst the ongoing challenges of the pandemic.
