Premier League: Visit Rwanda extends as sleeve sponsor of Arsenal FC for 2021-2025 (press)

Rwanda Development Board, the Rwandan agency for international investments, via its subsidiary Rwanda Convention Bureau in charge of promoting tourism in the East African country, has extended as sleeve sponsor of Arsenal FC (Premier League) for four more seasons (2021-2025), announced the English media on 17/08/2021.

The "Visit Rwanda" slogan has been displayed on the Gunners' left sleeve since 2018-19, for £10m per season (€11.1m/year), or £30m over three years. The new deal would be worth an estimated £40m over four seasons, a similar annual allocation to the 2018-2021 cycle (€11.7m, conversion to date). Visit Rwanda would therefore pay £70m (€80m) over seven seasons to Arsenal FC.

The Rwandan agency is also a partner of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) over the 2019-2022 cycle for an estimated €9m per season (sleeve sponsor of the women's teams). Rwanda Development Board will thus invest €107m in European sports sponsorship over the 2018-2025 cycle.
