24 Hours of Le Mans: Oreca to launch a virtual Fanzone for the Alpine racing team and its partners

Motorsports agency Oreca Events is setting up a virtual Fanzone for the Alpine Elf Matmut Endurance Team on the occasion of the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans, entitled #Fanzone36 (36 being the number of the #36 Alpine A480 car), "combining live action, gaming and augmented reality, a first in the world of motorsport", said the agency responsible for the project on 18/08/2021.

"Among the activities on offer (see below): a live area to follow and support the Alpine A480 #36, mini-games in the colours of two of the team's partners - Elf (petrol) and Matmut (insurance) - to test one's driving reflexes and win autographed prizes, and finally, augmented reality to project the world of the race into one's own home," said the agency.

Launched on the occasion of the 89^th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will take place on 21 and 22/08/2021, "its mission is to make the race accessible to as many people as possible by offering them the opportunity to experience the race from home.
