Serie A TIM: beIN Sports acquires TV rights in France and 11 Asia-Pacific countries (2021-2024)

The Qatari group beIN Sports, which has been broadcasting Serie A in France since 2012, has retained its exclusive broadcasting rights to the Italian Championship for the 2021-2024 cycle, announced the pay-TV group on 19/08/2021, two days before the start of the 2021-22 Serie A TIM season. "In France, beIN Sports will broadcast at least five matches per matchday."

This renewal, carried out by Swiss agency Infront, also covers eight other territories: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, Brunei and East Timor. "The agreement will also allow beIN to broadcast Serie A in three new territories in Asia Pacific: Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand," added the group.

beIN Sports also acquired the TV rights, for France, to LaLiga Santander for the 2021-2024 cycle, on 18/05/2021, and to Bundesliga for the 2021-2025 cycle, on 15/07/2021.
