SSC Napoli to produce and market in-house 2021-22 shirts designed by Giorgio Armani (EA7 brand)

SSC Napoli (Serie A TIM) will produce and market its own 2021-22 shirts designed by Italian fashion brand Giorgio Armani, announced the club 19/08/2021. The Italian group will display its sports brand Emporio Armani (EA7) on the Napoli shirts.

"EA7 (founded in 2004) will be the new technical sponsor of Napoli in an innovative collaboration with Aurelio De Laurentiis' (president) club. The agreement includes, for the first time, the study of the creativity of the official match uniforms and technical material of the first team and the Primavera (U19), which will be produced and marketed by SSC Napoli SpA," said the club.

Olimpia Milano (Lega Basket Serie A), a basketball club owned by Giorgio Armani since 2008, has also had outfits designed by EA7 since 2011.

The Neapolitan club, which was under contract with equipment manufacturer Kappa for the 2015-2021 period (€8m per season), thus regains control of its shirt sales revenue.
