Formula 1: Crypto.com launches an award for the driver with the most overtakes in 2021

Crypto.com, the Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency and NFT platform, has activated its partnership with Formula One Group and launched the "Crypto.com Overtake Award", a prize that will be awarded to the driver with the greatest number of overtakes throughout at the end of the 2021 Formula One World Championship season, announced Formula One Management on 24/08/2021.

"The award, which is the first of its kind, is designed to celebrate the bravery exhibited by drivers who make bold moves in pursuit of success. After 11 rounds of the campaign, it is four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel (GER) who leads the pack with the most overtakes so far this season," said the body.

"New broadcast graphics will be introduced live during each race, to signal overtaking possibilities and potential moves, and to help fans keep track of drivers' progress in the hunt for the Crypto.com Overtake Award, which will chart the amount of overtakes made throughout the campaign.
