Spain: Reims - PSG (Messi's 1^st Ligue 1 match) to be broadcast on leading free-TV channel Telecinco

Stade de Reims - Paris Saint-Germain, Matchday 4 of the 2021-22 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season, and the first match in which the Argentine Lionel Messi is expected to play in the French league, will be broadcast on the free and private Spanish TV channel Telecinco (Mediaset España Group) on Sunday 29/08/2021 (kick-off at 20:45 CET). Telecinco is the leading channel in terms of audience share in the Spanish market (with an average of 14.6% in 2020).

The match will also be broadcast via the platform Twitch on the channel of Spanish esports commentator Ibai Llanos (7.4 million subscribers as of 25/08/2021).

The broadcasting rights for the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, over the 2021-2024 cycle, have been sold to the Spanish agency Enjoy Television according to our information.

The terms for how the Ligue 1 Uber Eats will be broadcast in Spain over the remainder of the 2021-22 season are not yet known, but there could be a mix of both free and pay TV broadcasting.
