Nice-Marseille: LFP places case under investigation; Nice-Bordeaux behind closed doors on 28/08/2021

• The OGC Nice - FC Girondins de Bordeaux game behind closed doors at the Allianz Riviera (Matchday 4 of the 2021-22 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season) on Saturday 28/08/2021 at 17:00 CET.
• A suspension from the bench, the referees' dressing room and from all official functions for Pablo Fernandez, a physio for Olympique de Marseille.
These are the two measures taken by the LFP Disciplinary Committee on 25/08/2021, three days after the incidents that prevented the Ligue 1 Uber Eats match between OGC Nice and Olympique de Marseille from going ahead at the Allianz Riviera on 22/08/2021.

The disciplinary body, chaired by Sébastien Deneux, has also decided to "place the case under investigation" until Wednesday 08/09/2021. In the meantime, "the result of the match will not be taken into account in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats standings," explained the LFP (full press release below).
