Rugby: Altrad (construction), main jersey sponsor of the All Blacks (2022-2027)

The French group Altrad, distributor of construction and engineering equipment, has become a major global partner of New Zealand Rugby (NZR) for the next six years from 2022, on 27/08/2021. Altrad will become the main jersey sponsor of the All Blacks and the Black Ferns (New Zealand women's team) as well as four other teams: the All Blacks Sevens (rugby 7s), the Black Ferns Sevens (rugby 7s), the Māori All Blacks (Maori national team) and the U20s.

This agreement had already been mentioned by the French biweekly newspaper Midi Olympique on 05/04/2021. "It's a prestigious brand. The All Blacks are the best in terms of rugby in the world for a long time. We are interested, it's true. Negotiations are underway," said Mohed Altrad, head of the eponymous group, to the French sports daily L'Equipe at the time. The proposed contract was, at the time, €9m per year until the 2023 World Cup in France, where New Zealand will play France in the opening match (on 08/09/2023).
