Ligue 1 Uber Eats: VTVcab acquires 2021-2024 TV rights in Vietnam via the Reddentes agency

"Reddentes Sports has agreed a deal with beIN Sports to bring Ligue 1 Uber Eats action to viewers in Vietnam via VTV Cab for the next three seasons (2021-22 to 2023-24)," announced the Singapore-based agency and the Qatari pay-TV group beIN Media Group (holder of Ligue 1's international rights until 2023-24) on 27/08/2021.

This agreement had already been announced locally, on 05/08/2021, by the pay-TV operator VTVcab, which broadcasts the Bundesliga, Serie A TIM and LaLiga Santander in Vietnam.

The agreement was therefore negotiated before Lionel Messi signed for Paris Saint-Germain (10/08/2021). The broadcasting rights in Spain were also sold to the agency Enjoy Television before the arrival of the Argentine in Ligue 1 (for an estimated €2.5m per season according to Spanish media) even though the agreement was announced afterwards.

The Ligue 1 Uber Eats was not broadcast in Vietnam in 2020-21. The pay-TV operator SCTV held the rights to the French league during the 2019-20 season.
