LaLiga Santander: Taica (technology, JPN), main shirt sponsor of RCD Mallorca for 2021-22

Taica Corporation, a Japanese technology company, has become the main shirt sponsor of RCD Mallorca (LaLiga Santander ) for the 2021-22 season, announced the promoted side on 27/08/2021. Japanese footballer Takefusa Kubo, under contract with Real Madrid CF, has been sent on loan to RCD Mallorca for a second season in 2021-22 (first loan was in 2019-20).

The Japanese group will display its αGEL brand, a technology dedicated to reducing and absorbing vibrations in sports footwear and other products (helmets, watches, mobile phones, TVs, etc.), on the front of the Spanish club's shirts.

Taica Corporation succeeds the British sports betting operator Betfred, main shirt sponsor of RCD Mallorca over the 2019-2021 cycle (€1.2m/season). The bookmaker had replaced another betting operator, namely Betpoint, main shirt sponsor of RCD Mallorca for the 2017-2019 cycle. Since the beginning of the 2021-22 season, Spanish sports clubs are no longer permitted to promote gambling operators on their shirts.
