Liga BBVA: Mexican beer brand Tecate to be regional sponsor of FC Barcelona through 2018-19

On 10/07/2014, Mexican beer brand Tecate signed on as a regional sponsor of FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) through 2018-19.

Tecate belongs to the Heineken group. The brand will have the image rights for FC Barcelona for its campaigns in Mexico. The club may have a pre-season tour in this country in the summer of 2015.

Tecate will be the third beer brand to be a regional partner for the club, after Thai brewer Chang and the South African Castle Beer. The Barcelona brewer Estrella Damm is Barça's official partner in Spain.
