UEFA: Nent acquires TV rights for Euro 2024 and 2028 (+ qualifiers) in the Baltic states

The Swedish free and pay TV group Nent (Nordic entertainment group) has acquired the broadcasting rights in Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia for UEFA national team competitions over the 2022-2028 cycle for its streaming platform Viaplay on 01/09/2021.

This acquisition includes Euro 2024, Euro 2028, the qualifying rounds for both competitions as well as those for the 2026 World Cup (UEFA zone) and the Nations League over three editions (2022-2027).

Nent notably holds rights in the Baltic States to the European Cups (2021-2024), the Bundesliga (2021-2029), the Premier League (2022-2028), Formula 1 (2021-2024) and NHL (2021-2026).

  • Available in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, Nent Group's Viaplay streaming platform will be available in the US and Poland during 2021, in the Netherlands in 2022 and in four other markets by 2023. Nent Group aims to have 10.5 million Viaplay subscribers by the end of 2025 (including 6.5 million in its historical Scandinavian markets).
