Cooperation: development agreement between FIFA, the FFF and the Djiboutian Football Federation

"Having signed a three-party cooperation agreement with the Djiboutian Football Federation (FDF) on 12/10/2020 FIFA and its partner, the French Football Federation (FFF), restated their commitment to supporting French-speaking African countries at an event held this week at the FFF's head office in Paris," announced the body on 02/09/2021.

The main objective of this agreement, initially signed on 12/10/2020 by digital means due to the Covid-19 pandemic, "is to develop football in the countries in question and to put the game there on a professional footing with the support of funding from the FIFA Forward programme and by making full use of FIFA/FFF Technical Support Programme initiatives," explained the international Federation.

The event took place in the presence of various representatives of the bodies concerned, including Souleiman Hassan Waberi, president of the FDF, Kenny Jean-Marie, director of member associations at FIFA, and Noël Le Graët, president of the FFF.
