ECA: "Five strategic priorities to strengthen European football" (N. Al-Khelaïfi, chairman)

Financial stability for European football, stronger links with the entire football family, substantial benefits for members of the ECA, an organisation that reflects the whole of Europe and finally the renewal of the spirit and values of the ECA and European football, these are the "five strategic priorities to strengthen European football" presented by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, chairman of the ECA, in his speech at the opening of the European Club Association's General Assembly, in Geneva (SUI) on 06/09/2021

This two-day General Assembly (06 and 07/09/2021) is the first since the failure of the "European Super League" project launched by 12 major European clubs on 18/04/2021. Nine of them, those who quickly backed out, are taking part in this General Assembly: "AC Milan, Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, Club Atlético de Madrid, FC Inter Milan, Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC, Manchester United FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC will retain their ECA ordinary membership for the 2019-2023 cycle," announced the European Club Association on 16/08/2021.
