UEFA: bwin (betting), partner of the Europa League and the Europa Conference League (2021-2024)

bwin, a Gibraltar-based sports betting operator owned by UK-based Entain plc (formerly GVC Holdings), has become an official partner of the Europa League and Europa Conference League for three seasons (2021-2024), announced UEFA on 07/09/2021.

"We're delighted to have secured bwin as the first ever official sports betting partner for one of our competitions at official partner level (first level)," said Guy-Laurent Epstein, marketing director of the European body. As part of the agreement, bwin will benefit from visibility on stadium signage as well as on UEFA's communication materials.

"A key element of the partnership will see bwin's availability in supporting UEFA's fight against match-fixing in order to maintain the integrity of the sport. UEFA is investing more in its fight against match-fixing by further developing its internal unit of experts and investigators in the field.
