UK: ITV acquires England women's football team broadcasting rights (2021-2025)

The British private free-to-air TV group ITV has acquired the UK broadcasting rights to the England women's national team, for the 2021-2025 cycle, from The Football Association, on 05/09/2021.

These rights include the qualifying matches (Women's World Cup 2023, Women's Euro 2025) and friendlies of the England women's team, who have already qualified for the Women's Euro 2022 (originally scheduled for 2021 prior to the Covid-19 pandemic) as host nation.

ITV also holds the broadcasting rights for the men's team for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (with the BBC), the Emirates FA Cup (with the BBC), the 6 Nations tournament, the 2023 Rugby World Cup and the Tour de France cycling race.
