"We have completed our sponsorship programme on the three levels of partnerships available and we are well advanced in terms of ticketing, which remains the key to our financial success. All the signals are therefore green," said Claude Atcher, CEO of France 2023, to News Tank Football on 08/09/2021, two years to the day before the Rugby World Cup 2023 begins with an opening match between France and New Zealand at the Stade de France (Saint-Denis) on Friday 08/09/2023.

"We are very proud of the positioning of the World Cup, proud of our ambition to make it a different kind of event, which should serve as a model for the new generation of sporting events, with a positive impact on the country, the sport and the people, in particular via our Campus 2023 programme (see details below)," explained Atcher.

"The first important milestone for the future is the opening of the volunteers programme at the end of 2021. The second subject is that of mobilisation and commitment: we need to consolidate these in the territories," added Claude Atcher, who answered questions from News Tank Football.
