LaLiga Santander: Real Betis opens its first academy in Algeria, the club's eighth outside Spain

Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander) has opened an academy in Dely Ibrahim (west of Algiers, ALG), its first in Algeria, announced the club on 03/09/2021. Betis are already present on the African continent in Zimbabwe, where the club opened an academy in October 2020, and in Tanzania, where it has been running a joint socio-educational project with LaLiga since March 2021.

Launched in partnership with United Football Academy, a local football school, "Betis Academy Algeria has capacity for 300 children aged between 5 and 16 years old who will improve their football skills throughout the year.
