Paris Saint-Germain: Crypto.com to pay part of its partnership in cryptocurrency

Crypto.com, a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency and NFT platform with 10 million active accounts, is to become the "official cryptocurrency platform" of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) from the 2021-22 season, according to the French club on 10/09/2021.

The value of this multi-year agreement is estimated between €25m and €30m, according to the French sports daily L'Équipe. The daily also reported that the value of the agreement has been revised upwards following the arrival of Argentine Lionel Messi at the club. Part of this sponsorship money will be paid in cryptocurrency to PSG.

As part of the agreement, Crypto.com will benefit from visibility on signage at the Parc des Princes and a collection of PSG NFTs will be produced.
