FC Nantes: "NFTs connect the digital and physical dimensions" (Baptiste Huriez)

"FC Nantes (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) launched its first NFT through a unique collection centered around its away shirt in early August. Via the Golden Goals platform, the first 100% French digital art gallery dedicated to football art based on blockchain technology, the club wanted to create a unique experience by connecting the digital and physical dimensions that this technology allows," said Baptiste Huriez, marketing director at FC Nantes, to News Tank Football on 03/09/2021.

"We have always had a policy of innovation and pre-emption of new digital trends, which explains our launch into the word of NFTs. This is an experiment, which will give us a new way to interact with our communities. Even though it is a niche topic, it could give us a new way to generate revenue in the future," continued Huriez.
