FC Barcelona: partnership with iQiyi Sports for a digital membership programme for Chinese fans

FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) has joined forces with the Chinese media platform iQiyi Sports to create the "iBarça" digital membership programme, which "will give fans access to all LaLiga games in the 2021-22 season, exclusive content with Mandarin subtitles, and a welcome gift of FC Barcelona merchandise," announced the club on 14/09/2021.

A regional partner (fourth level) of FC Barcelona in China since the 2020-21 season, iQiyi Sports also holds the media rights to LaLiga in China until 2029. "In addition to game viewing rights with multilingual commentary, subscribers will enjoy exclusive video content courtesy of Barça TV+, available for the first time in Mandarin, giving fans in China access to hours of exclusive club content," explained FC Barcelona, which has also become the first Spanish club to develop a membership programme with the Chinese platform.
