€465m is the amount expected to be shared by the 32 European clubs participating in the group stage of the 2021-22 Europa League, which kicks off on Thursday 16/09/2021 (Spartak Moscow - Legia Warsaw, 0-1, Group C, on 15/09/2021), according to UEFA circular no. 35/2021 on 20/05/2021 (document available to download).

The net revenue available to participating clubs is divided into four categories (details below):
• 1 - Starting fees: 25% (€116.25m).
• 2 - Fixed amounts linked to performance: 30% (€139.5m).
• 3 - Amounts linked to coefficient rankings over 10 years: 15% (€69.75m).
• 4 - Variable amounts linked to the market pool: 30% (€139.5m).

"All figures prior to Covid-19 impact deduction," explained UEFA.

The Europa League has introduced a new format in 2021-22 with 32 clubs (instead of 48) in the group stage divided into eight groups of four. The top three from each group will continue their European campaign in 2022, according to UEFA:
