"Because times are changing, AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) wishes to change its logo and visual identity. To do this, the club is launching a popular, innovative and collaborative process to co-construct its new visual identity with its supporters, who will be involved at every stage of the project," announced the club on 15/09/2021.

"Because we are building our future together more than ever, because our supporters inspire us, the 'Green People' are invited from this Wednesday 15/09/2021 to express themselves on the vertlavenir.asse.fr platform to contribute to the first stage of this unique, inclusive and innovative project," said AS Saint-Étienne, whose current logo was created in 2000.

"Exchange and collaboration workshops will also be initiated before a final and popular vote is held in early November 2021. The next logo and associated visual identity will be implemented at the beginning of the 2022-2023 season," added the club, which is launching the initiative as part of its 90th anniversary celebration (see below).
